Contact Karen
Karen LoBracco is a Credentialed Religious Educator who began this career in 1996. She served as settled Director of Religious Education for 2 congregations in suburban Atlanta, GA, as well volunteer service in the former Mid-South District. In 2008 she moved back to New York State and until 2014 worked as Lifespan Faith Development Consultant for the former St. Lawrence and Ohio Meadville Districts. Subsequently Karen held interim positions in Birmingham, AL, Kent, OH and Williamsville, NY.
In addition to service with the Guild of Interim Religious Educators, Karen was Treasurer and Board member of the Liberal Religious Educators Association from June 2014 – November 2017. In 2018 she was appointed to the UUA’s Ministerial Fellowship Committee and is chair of the Candidacy Working Group. Karen is a member of the Central East Region’s Chalice Lighter Committee and is active in local politics and community causes. She lives in Brockport, NY with her husband Bernie and their cat Daisy. Karen is the parent of 2 wonderful adult children and is blessed with a delightful granddaughter.
